X is for..

There are not many words that start with the letter x and the only words I could think of would be X-ray and Xylophone. But I thought I’d Google “words starting with the letter x” and see what came up. I found the word Xenodochial. I’ve never heard of it but when I read the definition it definitely caught my attention.

Xenodochial: (adj.) friendly to strangers.

Example: “The salesman was very xenodochial; consequently, he led the company in sales this month.”

Now there’s a word you don’t hear often. I guess in the blogging community everyone is very xenodochial too 😀 Hope you like this short post and if you’re like me you just learned a new word today 🙂
