Photo 101: Wrap Up

I’m so happy I was able to be part of the Photo 101 course once again. It’s been so much fun and the best part is seeing so many different takes on the themes we were provided with. It was nice meeting new people and gaining new followers. I want to thank everyone that stopped by throughout this past weeks and hopefully you enjoyed my posts.

Here are my “best” top 10 photos from the Photo 101:

Photo 101: Triumph

Bird sitting on top of a bush tree outside my home

Bird watching is not as easy as I thought. I’ve attempted to take a photo of a bird up close many times before it flies away and I finally succeeded!  I feel very proud of this photo and that’s why I decided to share it today on our last day of Photo 101.

I hope you like it! 🙂

Texas didn’t compare to the bay, it was home.

Her parents begged her to come and visit for the holidays, so she did.

Her family and friends greeted her in.

It was nice seeing familiar faces after a year away from home.

Once everyone left, her parents had a special surprise for Nancy.

“Honey, we know your life is in Texas but you can come back anytime. Your father has a job waiting for you at his office and you can attend Berkley. It would mean the world to us if you stay.”

After seeing Mark earlier she secretly wanted to stay.

“Oh Mom, I don’t know. There’s a lot to think about.”

Suddenly Mark walks out of her room with a ring box in hand.

“Nancy, will you please stay?”

Speechless, she turned to her parents and they smiled with approval. Without thinking twice she turned to Mark, “Yes! I’ll stay!”

I am submitting this to Priceless Joy’s Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers. We are to write a story of 150 words or less based on the photo provided to us.

A to Z Challenge

I decided to join the A-Z Challenge after seeing a lot of fellow bloggers join in the fun! Photo 101 will be over this week so I thought it would be perfect to join in on another challenge next month. I’m very excited and I can’t wait to see what everyone will be posting. Today is the big day where everyone reveals a theme so my theme will be Personal and Random.

It seems like it’ll be so much fun so I’m hoping I’ll be able to keep up with the challenge all month long. Hope you enjoy my posts! 🙂

Photo 101: Treasure

Today’s theme asks us to post a photo of something we treasure:

I am grateful every day for having a wonderful family. My daughters are the most valuable treasure I have and they give me the most precious memories. I love them so much and I wouldn’t trade being their mom for anything in the world!
